FINDON GRAND NATIONAL 10KM & 5 MILE TRAIL RUN | 2KM KIDS RUN

Raw Energy Pursuits are proud to be organising a testing, fun and off-road charity 10km trail run at Findon Village during Grand National weekend.  We’ll also be doing the new 5 mile course like we did last year (One less hill!). The location is second to none, based in the picturesque village of Findon, Race HQ will be on Nepcote Green. As in 2025, we’ll have our 2km Kids Run around Nepcote Green (3 Laps).

This is a part funded charity event with proceeds going to Findon Swimming Pool and the PTA at St John the Baptist Primary School in Findon Village School. Whilst a bit late this year, it’s still the Grand National Run and the village’s racing history, why not run in a jockey’s outfit and win the prize for the best dressed Filly or Colt!  In fact, to make sure we keep to the racing theme, you’ll need to register not only your full name, but that of your racing avatar! (an avatar is your alter ego or character!).   So, will you be an Aldaniti, & Bob Champion from 1981? Or perhaps the classic Red Rum, Mr Frisk, L’Escargot or you could make up one of your own such as Aerobically Challenged, Cirque Du Sore Legs or a Miss Demeanour!   The Protein Ball Co, our favourite energy food, will be on hand at the finish to provide you with your daily supplement – no bags of hay here!

What you need to know: Runs start from 9:00am.

Dog-Friendly Events – Important Information. At our dog-friendly events, we want both dogs and owners to have a fun and safe experience. All dogs must be kept on a harness throughout the event, and owners are responsible for their dogs at all times. We recommend using a harness that allows full movement, ensuring your dog can run comfortably and safely. Be mindful of fellow runners. When overtaking or being overtaken, give other runners plenty of space and ensure your dog is under control. This helps create a safer, more enjoyable experience for everyone. Please keep in mind that not all runners may be comfortable around dogs, so it’s essential to be considerate of others at all times.
