🥋 Karate & Kickboxing 🥊

New to martial arts? You’re in the right place.

Whether you're looking to build confidence, improve fitness, or try something completely new, SAMA Karate & Kickboxing in Portslade offer a fun, supportive way to challenge yourself—no experience necessary!

SAMA runs separate classes for karate and kickboxing, so students can choose the path that suits their goals—or try both. Classes are pay-as-you-go, making it easy and flexible to get started without any long-term commitment.

Martial arts training is a fantastic way to boost confidence, support both physical and mental wellbeing, and develop valuable life skills. Whether you're stepping onto the mats for fitness, focus, self-discipline, or fun—you’ll be in great hands.

Sessions are led by a team of experienced and passionate coaches, including Sensei Dan, a 3rd Dan Karate instructor and black belt kickboxer, who teaches classes throughout the week and on weekends. The team brings years of martial arts expertise, creating a welcoming environment where people of all ages and abilities can thrive.

🥋 Karate (Ages 4+)

Karate classes introduce students to traditional martial arts in a fun, structured way. With a focus on discipline, confidence, and technique, these sessions are ideal for children, teens, and adults. Whether it’s a student’s first time on the mats or a return after a break, everyone is welcomed and supported.

🥊 Kickboxing (Ages 8+)

Kickboxing sessions are high-energy and fitness-focused, helping students develop striking skills, coordination, and cardio fitness. Classes combine solid technique with an enjoyable workout, all delivered in a friendly, inclusive atmosphere.
